The Anchor Cottage is a peaceful retreat tucked in the trees and along the Puget Sound waterfront. Come enjoy the cozy fire and soak in the views as you immerse yourself into the relaxing sounds of nature.
The waterfront yard is fully fenced with a gate to keep your pup nearby and out of the water without adult supervision. Guests book the whole house and property — this includes private staircase down to sandy beach, kayaks, and fire pit on deck above.
3 bedrooms / 3 beds / 1 bath. Open living + kitchen. Historic cottage, bright and window-lined — bay views from living + dining.
Southwest over Honeymoon Bay. Best light 6–9am from sofa, sunset fireside. Watch for eagles, otters, occasional seals.
Quiet cove. No road hum. Puget Sound lapping, wind in firs. Please keep music low after 9pm — sound travels over water.

Dog-friendly. 1–2 well-behaved dogs max. Gate closed, not in bedrooms unless covered. Rinse sand.
CO alarm, smoke alarm, 2 fire extinguishers (kitchen + hall), first aid under sink. Exterior cameras on.

The waterfront yard area is fully fenced with a gate to keep your pup nearby and out of water without adult supervision. Gate must latch. Steps are steep-ish, handrail on right going down.
On deck above beach. Check burn ban. Keep small, inside ring. No pallets / trash. Extinguish: water, stir.
Sandy with some rock. At low tide very wide. Water cold year round ~50°F. Swim shoes nice.
Close always. Dogs: leash to beach, voice OK if recall is solid. Rinse collars.

No guest access — nearby lake is private. Please do not access from the property or neighboring paths. Refer to county maps for public access points elsewhere on the island.

Bayview — farm stand, hardware, espresso. Freeland 9 min — groceries, tacos, wine. Coupeville 18 min — front street.
